‘Tareekh e Adab e Urdu Quarterly’ is an International Refereed Urdu Journal Publishing since a Long Time Regularly. The aim of the Journal is to Provide Opportunity to Scholars for High Quality Research in Urdu Language and Literature all over the world. The Language of the Journal is Urdu.

Authors Guideline

1. Tareekh e Adab Urdu (TAU) appreciates scholars, academicians and researchers tosubmit their Research Papers, Articles, and Reviews in Urdu.
2. The journal will publish Printed/online four times in a year i.e. January, April, July and October. Authors can submit their work all the year. An acceptation massage will send to the author.
3. Tareekh e Adab Urdu (TAU) will send research papers, articles to the experts before publishing.It may take up to three months.
4. Write a declaration below your paper that it is an original work and has not been published anywhere else or send for publication.
5. Translation of title in English along with Urdu title. Paper/article must be written in Urdu script.
6. A short bio-note of the Author indicating name, institutional affiliation, brief career history, postal address, mobile number and e-mail, in a single attachment.
7. Tareekh e Adab Urdu (TAU) will appreciate to publish serious academic work contributing new knowledge or innovative critical perspectives on the subject explored.
8. If author want to publish his article elsewhere, he may inform Tareekh e Adab Urdu (TAU)
9. Tareekh e Adab Urdu (TAU) has right to reject any paper not fulfill criteria of the journal.
10. All articles published in Tareekh e Adab Urdu (TAU) have been subjected to a double blind peer review process with 2 or 3 reviews per article.

Editing Requirements:

1. Paper size: A4, Font & size: Jameel Noori Nastaaleeq (Ms Word 2003-7) or In page Urdu Noori Nastaleeq Font 12, Spacing: Single line, Margin of 1 inch on all four sides.
2. Title of the paper: centered. Font size 18
3. References: Don’t use Foot Notes. Instead use End Notes.
4. Articles should be submitted as MS Word 2003-2007 attachments or Inpage only. Attach only single file.
5. The paper should not usually exceed 14 pages maximum, 5 pages minimum in single spacing.

Ethics Policy

The publication of an article in a peer-reviewed journal is an essential building block in the development of a coherent and respected network of knowledge. It is a direct reflection of the quality of work of the author and the institutions that support them. Peer-reviewed articles support and embody the scientific method. It is therefore important to agree upon standards of expected ethical behavior.

Ethics topics to consider when publishing:

Authorship of the paper: Authorship should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the reported study.

Originality and plagiarism: The authors should ensure that they have written entirely original works, and if the authors have used the work and/or words of others that this has been appropriately cited or quoted.

Data access and retention: Authors may be asked to provide the raw data in connection with a paper for editorial review, and should be prepared to provide public access to such data.

Disclosure and conflicts of interest: All submissions must include disclosure of all relationships that could be viewed as presenting a potential conflict of interest.

Fundamental errors in published works: When an author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in his/her own published work, it is the author’s obligation to promptly notify the URJ’s editor and cooperate with the editor to retract or correct the paper.

Reporting standards: Authors of reports of original research should present an accurate account of the work performed as well as an objective discussion of its significance.

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
